Ok, I was able to go over to Back 40 A1A and get pictures of my paintings.  Also, Tuesday was the big change out of paintings that always occurs at the end of each month.

First I moved around a couple paintings.  The large painting of CARNIVAL GRANDE" the Caribbean dancer was taken from the St. Augustine Art Association to the Beach Art Studio (TAS), where it will reside for a couple months.  They (TAS) only change out art every other month as a rule unless art sells or there is a special showing.  Then I placed my "SAN SEBASTIAN ESTUARY" painting (the 12 x 12 one) in the Miniature Works show at the St. Augustine Art Association (STAAA)

One thing I realized is that with my art selling so well last month at the Art Walk and then hanging so much art at both of the Back 40 restaurants and the Avonlea Mall,  I am left with very low inventory for the March Jacksonville Beach Art Walk coming up on March 14th!  I only have 6 or 7 small paintings to take so I had better get busy! Not a bad problem to have really.  But I am glad that I noticed soon enough to do something about it!

I seriously feel that I have reached my limit of places to handle my art for now.  I am not a full-time painter.  I work mostly in the evenings after I get home.  The only reason I had time to do all those large paintings for the new Back 40 A1A is that my husband was laid up with shoulder surgery.  Otherwise, I'd have been really hurting to get them done in time. It just worked out time wise and I'm glad it did.  Businesses that handle your art like you to be accommodating but you also have to have a life!

That said,  I have the pictures below of the artwork on the wall for you to see.  The sun was coming in the window throwing shadows on some of it but you have seen them before so you know what each painting looks like.  As I said before, I think all the paintings will really add to the atmosphere of the restaurant and the customers will really enjoy seeing them!  I feel that way especially after last night when my husband and I ate at another of the beach restaurants. It had good food,  but they were sadly lacking in atmosphere.  There were only 3 very small prints hanging on the entire wall space.  It had great potential being an Italian restaurant, but I really think that people don't realize how much impact that good art can have on the morale of the customers, the employees and the business. I guess we just need to educate them, right?

Ok,  I'm done for now.  Enjoy the pictures and the paintings.  I am back to the easel and paints.
See you next week,  Enjoy and Thanks for looking!
