Whew!  I am  exhausted!  I have been painting almost non-stop for the last two weeks trying to get all the paintings done for the restaurant.  Turns out that one wall  currently has a large TV hanging.  The owner said it is being removed and they want a LARGE painting to hang there.  Well, just so happens that a friend gave me a very large canvas she no longer wanted. Actually, she gave me 3 large canvases and I used them all for this commission.  Yea!!  The biggest is 4ft by 5ft!  the perfect size for that wall.  But,  that also meant that I had to paint on that large canvas!  It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would, but it sure did use a lot of paint!  I guess I will start ordering my paints in large sizes now.  LOL!!  It costs too much otherwise! I'm not sure if I will be the only artist there or not. (They have several artists at their current location) I am to take all the paintings in next Tuesday morning. That is when I will find out I guess.  Maybe they are having a contest?   Just kidding!  Hey, if they don't take all of them I will take the rest to the March Art Walk, to the Avonlea Mall or the Art Studio, etc, etc.  BTW, I am taking the large painting that is currently at Avonlea to the restaurant as it fits the seascape and color theme I have going here.  I am taking my "LAST SANCTUARY' painting up to replace it.  It is a more traditional painting anyway, fits better in that setting.

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to come up with a lesson for you.  Sorry.  but I will have one for next week, OK?  I think I need a painting break after this.  At least for a few days. Haha..

I have pictures of all the paintings I have worked on for this commission posted below. You will see just how busy I have been.  Thank goodness for massage, right?  I get one tomorrow.  Boy do I need it!!  Anyway,  enjoy and thanks for looking!

THESE ARE THE PAINTINGS I HAVE PAINTED JUST FOR THIS RESTAURANT.  HOWEVER, I AM TAKING MORE JUST IN CASE SHE WANTS THEM.  I COULDN'T GET INTO THE BUILDING TO MEAURE THE  WALL SPACE, SO I WILL GO PREPARED FOR ANYTHING!    BELOW ARE THE EXTRA PAINTINGS I WILL TAKE.  NOTICE THAT ALL THESE PAINTINGS ARE SIMILAR IN THEME AND OR COLOR.  THIS WILL MAKE FOR A COHESIVE LOOK ON THE WALLS.  THAT IS SOMETHING THE OWNER SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR!   SHE EMPHASIZED THAT SHE DOES NOT WANT A HODGE PODGE LOOK!!
